Las Vegas holds a special place in my life. I used to attend Comdex every year in Las Vegas, so I was able to witness the continual transformation of the strip and the city on whole.

When you travel to Las Vegas you usually only see the strip and maybe downtown. Not many people get out in the real Las Vegas where normal people live and carry on their lives. Since I went to Las Vegas once a year for 12 years or so, I was able to get out and around.

And this is the key to Las Vegas. People. They come by the thousands each year looking for a new life. A fresh beginning. A transformation. Las Vegas is probably the only place in the United States where people can find that fresh start, a good job and solid neighborhoods.

When people do go to Las Vegas do they look for Las Vegas homes for sale? Usually, but again, that's the greatness of the Las Vegas area. It can absorb the influx of people because it continually finds newer and better ways to grow.

If you do get the chance to go to Las Vegas, please, look around. Get off the strip or away from downtown and you'll be surprised by the breadth of the area.
