MLB.COM hits a homerun with clincher downloads

Major League Baseball has been quick to embrace the technology revolution when it comes to the Internet. Their MLBTV site does a great job of showing baseball games throughout the season to members. That's the deal, though. You have to pay a monthly fee to enjoy those games.

Well, at the end of this season Major League Baseball did a great job of opening up their downloads to allow anyone to grab the clinchers during the post season. Being a St. Louis Cardinals fan, I was able to download the regular season clincher, the Padres clincher, the Mets clincher, and the grandaddy of them all, the Tigers clincher.

Sure, these are only four games of the year, but they are the most important the St. Louis Cardinals played.

The baseball game downloads are in high quality and come straight from the broadcasts. They are no commercials.

What a great end of season gift from Major League Baseball to its fans.

Where can I get a copy of the "clinch time" videos? They aren't available on mlb.com anymore.
