Income distribution for major American cities

Graphical representation of information is fascinating, so it was pretty cool to come across these Radical Cartography maps of income distribution in major American cities .
Here is an example of St. Louis. You'll see the higher income is to the west of the city, which we refer to as West County.
It's fascinating to see most cities have one side or another that are their higher income areas.
