Later at night ... hungry. We find ourselves at the local grocery store and cast our eyes upon the ready made food. If you haven't looked hard lately you'll find that there is an amazing assortment of premade food that is restaurant style. Things like mashed potatoes, chicken cooked and precut for fajitas and meat loaf. Meat loaf is my achilles heel.

My Mom never really was a fan of meat loaf, so we didn't have it much. My first exposure was when my mother in law made it and it was awesome. During our marriage we've had many recipes for meat loaf and they all remain favorites.

It was with great excitement that I found the Tyson Seasoned Beef Meat Loaf in the refrigerated section. It looked plump, full and bodied. The tantalizing tomato sauce. I'll admit the carmel coloring gave me pause.

The meat loaf is half the size of the package.

We all know potato chips and other salty chip bases snacks typically take up half their packaging. This is due to the necessity of keeping the bag full so the product isn't damaged. But meat loaf?
