Ice Rocket Does Blog Searches – Ice Rocket Blog Not Updated

Mark Cuban pushes Ice Rocket as a solid search engine and recently he announced that Ice Rocket has added blog searching. This is a great feature and one that every search engine needs to have going forward. Yet, when you pop over to the Ice Rocket Blog you notice something funny.

The Ice Rocket team hasn't updated their blog in 6 months. In internet time that is eons. Here's a screen shot:

I want to get behind these guys as they sounded like they were going to make things happen in the search world. When you have Mark Cuban behind you it's going to be hot.

But it's disconcerting that a company that supposedly "gets" it wouldn't let their customers know what's going on. I find it hard to believe that no major, impacting work has been done in six months. Even if that's the case shouldn't a company be updating its own blog to get customers excited about their product?

There are no new metrics for how well Ice Rocket is doing in the marketplace, but using their blog to advocate their service would be a huge step in helping them attract more customers.
